Crisis
Communications – A crisis is any situation that can threaten
your reputation and damage your key relationships.
Communications alone may not resolve a crisis, but it is always
an integral component of the solution. We help our clients
communicate to all their important audiences quickly, truthfully
and effectively. Wise clients contact us well before the cameras
arrive at the front door, but even later is better than never.
For more information please see our
crisis
communications overview.
Strategic
Communications – A situation does not have to be a crisis to
require delicate and skillful handling. Furlow Communications,
LLC assists many clients involved in public policy issues or who
need to communicate important developments or changes to the
public or other stakeholders. For more information please see
our
strategic communications overview.
Crisis Communications Planning – As with any other
endeavor, people perform best when they have planned and
practiced what to do in a crisis. Crisis communications planning
allows an organization to think through the risks it faces
before it is under pressure and to decide how to respond if any
of those risks do occur. At the conclusion of the planning
process, the organization not only has a written plan to guide
it during a crisis but also has developed important new ways of
thinking.
Media Relations
Training – Being interviewed by a print or broadcast
reporter is not a natural activity for most people. Nothing
helps a person succeed in an interview like solid preparation.
We can help individuals or groups of people understand the
dynamics of giving good interviews in general as well as prepare
for interviews on specific topics.
